Hi there! I’m Niang.

Hello! I’m a passionate UX designer and current Interactive Design major at Kennesaw State University, based in Atlanta, GA. My journey into design began with a childhood dream of being an artist, constantly immersed in creative activities like drawing, painting, and dreaming up new projects. As technology evolved, I found myself captivated by the digital world and its potential to connect and inspire.

Why UX?

What drew me to UX design is the opportunity to blend creativity with purpose. I believe that design should genuinely care for the people it serves, creating experiences that resonate and make a difference in their lives. Throughout my various experiences, I’ve cherished the meaningful interactions with others, which sparked my desire to explore design in a more imaginative way.

In UX, I see a chance to navigate the emotional, functional, and aesthetic aspects of design, ensuring that each project I undertake is not only visually appealing but also impactful. My mission is to create purposeful designs that enhance user experiences and foster positive connections. I’m excited to continue my journey, exploring how I can make a lasting impact through thoughtful and innovative design.

What I like to do in my spare time...

  • Exploring Nature - Hiking or visiting local parks can be a great way to recharge and find inspiration in the beauty of the outdoors.

  • Makeup - Using makeup to express beauty in different ways - experimenting with different types of products and color palettes - is a lot like designing.

  • Being a foodie - Always on the lookout for new culinary experiences. Whether I’m trying out the latest restaurants in Atlanta or experimenting with recipes at home, I believe that food is an art form in itself.

  • Photography - Capturing moments can enhance your eye for detail and composition, enriching your design perspective.

  • Traveling - Exploring new cultures and environments not only broadens my horizons but also sparks my creativity. Each destination offers unique design aesthetics and user experiences, enriching my perspective and informing my work. I love capturing moments and finding inspiration in the architecture, art, and people I encounter along the way.
